Harlem Gold

Yellow roses on Yankee navy. Sunshine on the block. Gold against the night sky.

A navy trucker with mesh back built for breeze and a brim built for shade. My Harlem patch sits front and center: 125th Street, the A train, the crown, the blue rose, the red line. Yellow roses spill down the side in full 3D bloom, green leaves trailing all the way to the brim. Then I bedazzled the front panel because Harlem girls do not do plain.

This is the hat for the rooftop, the cookout, and the front of the line at the Apollo. Light enough for all summer, loud enough that people will ask.

Materials: Navy cotton blend trucker with mesh back, embroidered Harlem Patch, 3D embroidered yellow rose appliqués with green leaves, hand-applied rhinestone embellishments (red, clear AB, black), polyester thread.

Care: Hand spot clean only with cold water and mild soap. Do not machine wash. Do not put in the dryer. Avoid scrubbing rhinestones directly. Store in the mailer box or on a shelf when not worn. Keep dry.
